From Atlanta and other points North of Peachtree City:Peachtree City:
85 south to the Hwy 74 Peachtree City Fairburn exit 61. Turn left off of the ramp. 
Travel 10 miles south on 74 until you drive under the brown pedestrian bridge. 
After the bridge, turn right at the second drive. Follow the road to the left, towards Staples.

From New and LaGrange:
Take 85 north to exit 47. Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp into Hwy 34.
Drive East to Peachtree City (approx 8 miles) Turn left at the first light after crossing over the train bridge. 
There will be an Ethan Allen Furniture Store on the left. If you pass through the 74 / 54 intersection you have gone too far. Turn left at the sign for Staples and follow the road to The Great Outdoors.

Cheaha State Park in Delta Alabama. Approx. 1hr 45 min west of Atlanta.

From the West Side of Atlanta at the junction of Hwy. 285 & 20:

Travel West on Hwy. 20 for 73.5 miles. (towards Alabama) Get off at exit # 191.

Turn left at the end of the 191 exit ramp onto Hwy. 431.  Follow Hwy. 431 for 3.5 miles.

Turn right onto county rd 131. (There will be a PURE gas station on the corner of 431 and 131 where you turn)  

Follow 131 for 0.2 miles. Turn left at the stop sign onto Hwy. 281 south. 

Follow Hwy. 281 for 12.3 miles.

Turn right into the entrance to Cheaha State Park.  The camp store will be on the left as soon as you enter the park. 

We will meet in front of the store at 10 am. (Eastern Time) (Same time as Georgia)

Please allow approx. 2 hours drive time from Atlanta.

From Atlanta:

Take 85 south to Newnan exit 47. (Hwy. 34 west)

Go right at the end of the exit ramp into Hwy. 34 west (towards the city of Newnan)

In approx. ½ mile (second light) turn right onto Farmers Industrial (34 by pass)

Follow 34 by pass, (you will go through a couple of intersections), till you see Hwy. 16 / Alt 27.

Turn right at this light onto Hwy. 16 / Alt 27 (look for Go Cart World on the right)

Follow Hwy16 for several miles, it will cross over the Chattahoochee river.

About ½ mile after crossing over the river you will come to the Hwy. 5 intersection. (This is a round-about)

Turn left onto Hwy. 5 and follow for about 2 miles.

Look for a white sign on the right side of the road that says Macintosh reserve.

The sign is hard to see until you are directly next to it. Turn left at the sign.

Follow this road into the park. Park in the gravel lot next to the Ranger Station.

There will be a sign stating "All visitors check in here"

Please plan to arrive by 10am

From the square in Fayetteville.
Go south on Georgia Highway 85 (note: this is Georgia 85 and not I-85!). Approximately one mile to Georgia Highway 92. Turn left on Ga. 92. Follow Ga. 92 approximately 2 miles to Harps Church (on right). Turn right on the Antioch Road. Go south on the Antioch Rd. Approximately six miles to a stop sign at the junction with the Brooks Woolsey Rd. Continue straight ahead on the Antioch Rd. Approximately one more mile and pass through white gates. After passing white gates follow the road all the way to the dead end. The lake will be ahead of you. Look for the Pavilion and parking area on your right.
We meet at the pavilion at 10 am.

From Peachtree City
Beginning at the junction of Georgia Highway 54 and 74 drive south on Georgia Highway 74 until it dead ends into Georgia 85 (approx 7 miles) . Turn left on Georgia 85 and go north approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right on the Rising Star Rd.  Go 3.5 miles until you reach Brooks / Woolsey. Turn left and continue 1.5 miles  to the intersection with Antioch Rd. Turn Right onto Antioch and in approximately one mile you will pass through white gates. After passing white gates follow the road all the way to the dead end. The lake will be ahead of you. Look for the Pavilion and parking area on your right. We meet at the pavilion at 10 am.

From Atlanta.
Take 85 south to the Peachtree City / Hwy 74 exit 61. Turn left off the exit onto Hwy. 74 to Peachtree City. Go straight at the junction of Georgia Highway 54 and 74 in Peachtree City and continue driving south on Georgia Highway 74 until it dead ends into Georgia 85 (approx 7 miles) . Examples of the Backpacking meals that we provide are listed below.

Dinner - Each person may select from a variety of prepackaged meals such as: Spaghetti, beef stroganoff, chicken and rice, sweet and sour pork, and vegetable lasagna. With each meal you may also choose one or more or the following items: granola bar, crackers, cheese stick, sourdough roll, tea, coffee, hot cider, hot cocoa and sports drink mix.

Breakfast -  Our breakfast items include a choice of:
Instant Oatmeal or grits, breakfast / granola bar, raisins, coffee, tea, hot cider, hot cocoa and sports drink mix.

Lunch will be provided only on multi day events and will consist of prepackaged foods: Each participant will have a choice of food items such as:  Tuna / chicken salad, crackers, cheese, beef stick, energy bars and other similar items.

Our backpacking meals are tasty, nutritional, simple and light weight.
There is very little preparation required and clean is a snap.

Examples of the Family camping / Over night Kayaking meals that we provide are listed below.

Dinner - Hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, chips, fruit, cookies, coffee, tea, hot cider, hot cocoa, bottled water and sports drink mix.

Breakfast - Our breakfast items  include a choice of:
Instant Oatmeal or grits, breakfast / granola bar, fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, hot cider, hot cocoa, bottled water and sports drink mix.

Note: Sorry, but we don't provide "In between meal" snacks. Please bring a selection of your favorite snacks with you.
